Company History
   
October 1956 Founded in Miyakojima Ward, Osaka City.
June 1961 Sapporo Factory established in Kotoni-cho, City of Sapporo.
June 1962 Headquarters and Factory established in Miyakojima Ward, Osaka City.
Reorganized as a corporation with paid-in capital of 2 million yen.
Name changed to Chokoku Gravure Co. Ltd.
September 1964 Osaka Factory established in the City of Neyagawa, Osaka Prefecture.
Manufacturing Division moved from Miyakojima Ward, Osaka City.
October 1970 Osaka Sales Office established in City of Neyagawa, Osaka Prefecture.
Sales Division moved from Miyakojima Ward, Osaka City.
November 1970 Sapporo Factory moved to Hakken, Nishi Ward, City of Sapporo to accommodate factory expansion.
June 1976 Special Bag Production Division established in Sapporo Factory.
March 1977 Shizuoka Factory established in Yui, City of Shimada, Shizuoka Prefecture. Coater Division Established.
June 1978 Special Bag Production Division established in Shizuoka Factory.
March 1984 Osaka Factory expanded, gravure clean model plant completed.
December 1987 Osaka Sales Office established and moved to Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture.
February 1989 Adjacent land purchased for expansion of Shizuoka Factory (8,900m2site).
Phase One construction, including printing plant, coater plant, special bag production plant, office, and underground tank, begun.
May 1990 Shizuoka Factory Phase One construction completed. Capital increased (paid-in capital 32 million yen, authorized capital 128 million yen).
July 1990 Shizuoka Factory Phase Two construction, including printing plant and warehouse, begun.
February 1992 Shizuoka Factory Phase Two construction completed.
December 1993 Special Bag Production Division established in the Osaka Factory.
July 1994 Lamination Division established in the Osaka Factory.
April 1995 Plast Corporation founded in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
May 1997 Digital Design and Engraving Center established in the Osaka Factory.
June 2000 Sapporo Factory spun off as a separate company and named Chokoku Gravure Sapporo Co., Ltd.
June 2007 "Plast Corporation" absorbed and made the Tokyo Branch. Merged company renamed to "Chokoku Plast Corporation".
